About Loudoun Beach Volleyball

Loudoun Beach Volleyball provides training for beach volleyball players on a private lighted sand court in Ashburn, Virginia. We want to help beach players improve skills and grow as players and people. Our coaches love Beach Volleyball and teaching others just as much! Players will learn to compete at a high level and improve throughout their training. Many court volleyball players love the athleticism that Beach Volleyball brings to their indoor court game. It can help make them better overall athletes by making them stronger and faster on the court. Other players love beach so much to focus solely on playing in the sand. We welcome players to join us to experience the fun of Beach Volleyball. Who doesn’t love sport you can play in the sand and sun?

Beach Volleyball that cares, and is making a difference for a cause!

Loudoun Beach Volleyball started as a dream for James and Stacey Howell. The Howells are a Volleyball family, they play volleyball, coach volleyball and absolutely love Beach Volleyball. So what did they do? They built a regulation sand volleyball court and started a sand volleyball league to help grow the sport that they love.

They were also looking for new ways to raise money for LLS.org (Leukemia & Lymphoma Society). Stacey Howell  was diagnosed with Lymphoma several years ago and thankfully is now in remission. The league was formed as a unique way to help make a difference and raise money for Lymphoma Research. They want the money raised to help researchers find a cure to help Stacey and so many others afflicted with this disease. So they put the dream and the goal together and Loudoun Beach Volleyball became a reality. It just made sense to take something they loved and make it work for a cause that means everything to them. Don’t you agree?
