On May 24, 2015 in Civitavecchia, Rome, Windstar Cruises welcomed STAR LEGEND, the third and final of the fleet’s three newly refurbished all-suite yachts, doubling the size of Windstar’s fleet. Formerly Seabourn Cruises’ 1992-built SEABOURN LEGEND, the refurbished 212-passenger STAR LEGEND joins Windstar just a few weeks after another ex-Seabourn vessel, sister STAR BREEZE, became a part of Windstar. STAR LEGEND will spend the summer cruising the waters of the Med and northern Europe, and will winter in the Caribbean. Five of Windstar’s six ships carry 300 or fewer passengers, while a sixth, WIND SURF, carries a few more at 310.
